One thing I regret is not exploring the murals inside Coit Tower. I suggest taking a few extra minutes to appreciate the art, as they tell some cool local stories!
I think spending some time walking around the gardens before or after visiting the tower is totally worth it. The flowers and sculptures are beautiful and quieter than the tower itself.
My advice is to visit in the morning, like around 9 AM. There were way fewer people, and I got stunning photos without too many strangers in the background.
