I suggest wearing water shoes! The rocks can be a bit sharp and trust me, it’s not the best feeling to stub your toe while trying to enjoy the waves.

I think you should check the tide times before you go. Sometimes the water levels go up a bit, making the beach area smaller than usual. Plan around that to have a better experience

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices at beachside cafes are kinda high, and you'll save a bunch by packing a simple picnic.
