Don't forget to wear a helmet and pads if you tend to wipe out - safety first! I saw a few folks skateboarding without gear and it made me nervous.
I recommend hitting up the park around 10 AM before it gets super crowded. The morning light is also great for those Insta pics!
If you're new to skating, I'd suggest checking out the smaller ramps first. I made the mistake of going straight for the big stuff and it didn’t end well!
