Remember to hydrate! It's easy to forget when you're focused on the hunt. I felt super dehydrated by mid-morning, so keep a water bottle handy at all times.
I suggest trying to connect with locals for advice on hunting gear. I rented some there, but my friend brought his own and totally outperformed all of us. You don’t want to miss out!
If you're planning on buying ammo, check prices ahead of time. I paid way too much at the lodge when I could've brought my own for cheaper. Just makes sense!
