i think you should definitely wear comfy shoes; there's a lot of walking and some uneven paths. i ended up with sore feet after my visit!
My advice is to check the feeding times for animals. I just happened to be at the right place during a feeding, and it was amazing to see the animals up close
I recommend visiting during the afternoon, around 3 PM. The weather was cooler, and the animals seemed more active than in the hot midday sun!
