I suggest renting a surfboard from a local shop in town instead of booking through a tour. It’s way cheaper and you get to find your own perfect spot! Plus, I met some awesome locals who gave me tips on the best waves.

My advice is to hit the beaches early in the morning around 6 AM. The crowds are smaller, and you’ll have a better chance to catch some epic waves before the sun gets too hot.

I think it's worth checking out Playa Mann as it has decent waves for all skill levels. But be mindful of overcrowding; I found that the best time to surf is right before lunchtime when things start to slow down.
