If you're a fan of taking photos, go to the upper levels for the best views of the pitch. I regretted not snapping more from up there during my visit.

I suggest getting to the stadium by 4 PM if you want to avoid heavy traffic. Jakarta's roads can be a nightmare, especially on match days.

I think familiarizing yourself with the stadium layout can save you time. I got a bit lost looking for restrooms – they could’ve used better signs!
