Make sure to wear good walking shoes. The glacier area can be slippery, and you don’t want to waste time slipping around or getting sore feet – trust me, I learned that the hard way

I highly recommend taking the Montenvers train up to the glacier. It's a scenic ride and saves you the hassle of a long hike at the start. Plus, the views are totally worth it!
