I think arriving around 7 AM is perfect. It gives you time to get settled and choose your hunting gear without any rush. I noticed it was much quieter then.

I recommend calling ahead to check on the current hunting conditions; it can save you a trip if they're not operating due to weather. I learned this the hard way

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The options on-site can be limited and pricey. I wished I had packed more munchies!
