Don't skip the lunch options at the clubhouse. The views are fantastic, and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to other resorts in the area.

If you can go early—try for a tee time around 7 AM. The weather is cooler and the course is less crowded giving you time to really enjoy the scenery.

I think you should bring extra balls. There are some tricky water hazards, and I found myself losing a few and having to buy more at the pro shop.
