My advice is to wear sunglasses and a bandana. The sand can be super blinding and gets everywhere! I wish I had done this instead of wiping sand off my face all day
I think it's a good idea to rent your ATVs ahead of time. I waited too long, and by the time I went to find one, they were all booked out for the day. Save yourself the hassle.
I suggest bringing plenty of water and snacks. The heat can really sneak up on you, and buying food on-site can drain your wallet! I spent way too much at the snack stand.
