I think having a picnic in the castle gardens is a must. Just grab some snacks from a local market. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the scenery and take a breather before exploring further.

my advice is to visit on a weekday if you can, like tuesday or thursday. the crowds are much lighter, and you can really soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed.
