I suggest exploring a bit beyond the main trail. There are some hidden spots around the lake that offer stunning views and fewer people. Just keep an eye on the time to ensure you return before dark.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes, but also bring a pair of sandals for after the trek. You might want to slip those on while enjoying a snack by the lake.
