I recommend bringing snacks and water when you visit Lake Pomacocha. There aren't many places to grab a bite nearby, so it's better to come prepared. Trust me, I ran out of energy and had to cut my day short!

I think it's best to go in the morning, around 8 AM. The view is just stunning at sunrise, and you'll have the place mostly to yourself before the crowds arrive. I wish I had planned for it because the mid-day rush was a bit overwhelming.
