I suggest checking the events calendar before you go. We accidentally visited on a busy flower show day, and it was packed! You might want to avoid peak days for a more relaxed experience.
If you can, visit during the off-peak seasons like late fall or winter. The lights and holiday displays were stunning without the summer crowds. Definitely a more peaceful experience!
