My advice is to visit around 2 PM. That’s when the pandas are most active and playful. I went in the afternoon, and it was so much more lively than earlier in the day.

I suggest bringing some food for the pandas if you can! You can catch them during feeding time, which is super adorable. I wish I had known this, as it made my experience way better
