If you can, try to avoid peak season (like July-August), when prices for accommodations spike. I was shocked at how much dearer it was then compared to other times!

My advice is to do the walking tour with a local guide; they know so much about the rock art and history! You won't regret spending a little more for that insight.

I recommend bringing enough water and snacks for the trail, it can get pretty hot out there, plus some parts are more strenuous than they look. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!
