I recommend doing the sunrise tour at around 5:30 AM it was so peaceful and the colors of the valley at that time are unreal! Plus you’ll avoid the crowds later in the day. Best way to kick off your visit!
If you're planning to take a lot of photos, bring a good set of lenses! I didn’t, and I wish I would’ve had a zoom lens. I suggest checking your camera gear before heading out!
My advice is to download a navigation app in advance! The cell service is spotty, and I got lost trying to find some viewpoints. Having offline maps saved me a lot of time!
