I recommend packing snacks that you actually like. Some of the food on the trek can be hit-or-miss. I brought some protein bars and dried fruit and it really helped when I needed that extra boost during long days.

Don't skip the pre-trek briefing! I thought it was just formal talk, but I got some super helpful tips on gear and what to expect. It saved me time figuring things out once we were on the mountain.

Bring a reusable water bottle and tablets for purification. I forgot mine and ended up buying bottled water, which added up cost-wise. Plus, the local shops aren't always reliable. Staying eco-friendly and hydrated is easier with your own gear.
