My advice is to buy your tickets online ahead of time. The line can get ridiculously long, and I wished I had done that!
I think you should take your time in the miniatures section. It gets crowded and if you rush, you might miss some really cool details!
I recommend hitting up the little gift shop after your visit! I found some unique souvenirs that you won't see anywhere else.
