My advice is to check the weather before your trip and pack accordingly. I got soaked from unexpected rain and had to buy a poncho at the visitor center, which was pricier than I'd like!

I suggest booking your stay during the weekdays. It was much quieter when I went mid-week, plus I got a better rate on my campsite. Save that extra cash for some fun activities!
