If you're a newbie like me, don't be shy about asking the staff for tips on how to race better. They were super friendly and gave me some solid pointers that made my experience way more fun.
My advice is to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. I wore sandals and regretted it — those karts are way faster than I expected, and I ended up with sore feet!
Definitely consider booking online in advance to save a bit on your race fees. I saved a few bucks, and it was nice not to wait in line too long
