I suggest bringing a camera for the sunset; the views are breathtaking! Just remember to charge your phone ahead of time because it'll be hard to find a charging point out in the dunes.
I recommend checking the weather before you go; it can change fast out there. We got caught in a sudden downpour, and it made the trails super muddy and chaotic!
Plan on hitting the dunes early in the morning, like around 9 AM. It gets crowded, and the cooler morning temps make riding way more enjoyable than baking under the sun later.
