My advice is to wear water shoes if you're sensitive to rocky areas. I didn't have them, and let me tell you – ouch! The water is beautiful, but some spots can be a bit tricky.
I suggest bringing some snacks and drinks, because the nearby eateries can be pricey! I ended up spending way more than I expected on just a couple of drinks. A picnic on the beach is a way better idea!
I think you should try to avoid the peak season if you can. I went in August, and the beach was packed! It was hard to find a quiet spot to relax. Off-peak is the way to go!
