I recommend wearing good hiking shoes. I saw a few people struggling in flip-flops, and trust me, you don't want to risk a slip on those rocky paths.

Bring plenty of water and some snacks. The hike can be more challenging than it looks, and it's nice to refuel when you need a break. I wish I'd brought better snacks.

If you're on a budget, consider staying at local guesthouses instead of hotels. They’re cheaper and give you a better feel for the local culture, plus you might meet some cool fellow travelers!
