My advice is to start your trek early, around 5 a.m. That way you’ll be at Poon Hill just in time for sunrise. Trust me, the views are so worth it!
I recommend bringing some cash, cause not all tea houses accept cards. I found some beautiful spots that I'd totally missed if I relied solely on ATMs. Just keep enough for food and a few souvenirs!
