If you like to save on souvenirs, try to explore the shops further down the street. Some smaller shops have hidden gems that are reasonably priced compared to the ones near the main square.

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes! The cobblestone streets can be tough on your feet after walking for hours. I regretted not bringing my sneakers and had to buy an expensive pair there.

I suggest grabbing lunch at one of the little cafes - the food is delicious! I had a tasty poutine that was way too big, but perfect for sharing and it only cost about $10.
