Get there by 8 PM if you can. The turtle watching starts around 8:30 PM, and trust me, you want to see the little ones hatching! It's an incredible sight, but it gets crowded fast

Bring a good camera with a zoom lens if you like photography. A phone camera might not capture the moment very well since the turtles are usually a bit far off.

don't miss the museum on-site! it's easy to skip, but you'll learn so much about the turtles and their habitat, which really adds to the experience. i wished i had gone earlier.
