Don't bother with the fancy shoes. Just wear something comfy that you can move around in. I wore my sneakers, and I was glad I didn't stress about fancy footwear!

buy your drinks at happy hour if you can! i saved a heap of cash this way before the dance really kicked off. the drinks can get pretty pricey otherwise.
