make sure to pack some snacks and plenty of water. there are some lovely spots for a picnic up there, and you don’t want to waste time hiking back down just to grab a bite.
I recommend getting there before 9 AM if you can. The parking lot fills up quickly and you might have to park far away, which means more walking before the hike even starts.
Dress in layers! The weather can change super fast. I made the mistake of wearing just a t-shirt and ended up freezing at the glacier.
