Ski passes can save you money if you buy them online in advance. I bought mine the day before, and it was a hassle compared to just buying online!
If you're into snowboarding, try to get there right after a fresh snowfall. The powder was amazing, but it can get skied out quickly during peak hours. I missed out on some epic runs because I went too late
I highly recommend trying the local food at the mountain huts. The prices are often reasonable and way better than the touristy spots in town. Don't skip the polenta!
