Wear comfy shoes! The zoo is bigger than it looks, and you’ll be doing a fair bit of walking. I totally regret not wearing my best sneakers
My advice is to download the map from their website ahead of time. The layout is a bit confusing, and it’ll save you time figuring out where to go.
Get there right when the zoo opens at 10 am. You'll beat the crowds and have a better chance to see the animals active and roaming around.
