I think bringing your own snacks and drinks helps save some cash on the mountain. The food at the lodges is a bit pricey, and honestly, having a little picnic was awesome.
I suggest checking the lift pass prices online before you go. I saved a good amount by booking it a day in advance. Plus you avoid the lines at the ticket counter!
My advice is to hit the slopes right after breakfast, around 9 AM. The morning sun is lovely, and the crowds are way thinner, so you can enjoy the runs without waiting around
