Make sure to visit in the morning around 9 AM when there are fewer tourists. I loved snapping photos of the canals without all the crowds blocking the view!
don't miss the little art shops hidden away in the side streets. i stumbled upon some unique souvenirs that aren't sold in the more touristy areas.
If you're looking to save a bit of cash try eating at one of the bakeries instead of the sit-down restaurants. Their pastries and sandwiches are delicious and much cheaper!
