I think you should avoid weekends if you can. It gets super crowded, and waiting for a spot in a pool isn't fun. Try going on a Thursday or Friday instead.
If you want a great spot, get there by 10 AM. The sun starts hitting the pools nicely, and you can snag a good lounger before they fill up!
I recommend bringng your own snacks and drinks, cause food prices on-site can be a bit high. I spent way too much on a simple sandwich!
