i recommend checking out the different pools before settling in one. the hot springs area is super relaxing and less crowded in the morning.
I suggest wearing water shoes if you have them. The floors can get really slippery, and I kinda twisted my ankle when I forgot mine!
My advice is to bring your own snacks and water. The food prices inside can be a bit steep, and some options just aren't that great anyway.
