I recommend booking your ride in advance, especially during peak tourist season. It really fills up fast and I ended up coming a day later than planned!

I think starting your ride around 10 AM is perfect. You get the best weather, and it's less crowded too. Plus, it gives you plenty of time to enjoy lunch afterward!
