I think it's worth checking the zoo's schedule for animal feedings or special events ahead of time. I happened to catch a giraffe feeding that was super cool, and it made my visit way more memorable!

I suggest arriving right when the zoo opens at 9 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy a quieter experience. You'll get better views of the animals and can take fantastic photos without a bunch of people in the way.
