My advice is to check the weather before you head out. I didn’t, and we ended up getting rained on halfway through. Bring a light poncho just in case!
Try to go around 10 AM on a weekday if you can. The river was much less crowded then, and I got to enjoy the calm water and beautiful views.
I recommend booking your rental online in advance. It saved me time, and I snagged a discount too! The last-minute rush can be a bit crazy during peak hours.
