I recommend downloading the Thorpe Park app before your visit. It gives you live queue times and a map, which saves you a lot of time when trying to find rides.
Make sure to wear comfy shoes! You're going to be walking a ton, and I regretted my choice of flip-flops halfway through the day.
Also, don't fall for the fast track passes - they can be pricey. I found that most rides had manageable wait times, so it wasn't worth it.
