My advice is to wear good hiking shoes. The trail can get a bit slippery, especially after rain. I almost took a tumble, but thankfully I managed to stay upright with my good boots.
I recommend you pack a light lunch and some snacks. There aren't many places to grab food nearby and picnicking near the falls was a super chill experience. Trust me you'll want to just soak it all in
