I recommend checking the weather forecast beforehand. I thought I could go on a cloudy day, but it turned into a total bust because the winds died down fast!

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The prices at the beach bars can be a bit steep, and trust me, you’ll get hungry after all that surfing and swimming

I suggest booking your kitesurfing lessons in advance especially in high season. It can get super crowded and you don’t want to miss out on the fun! I missed one day because they were fully booked.
