Wear comfy shoes! You’ll be doing a fair amount of walking. I wore flip-flops, and by the end of the day, my feet were killing me. I recommend sneakers!
If you're hoping to see the lions, do the safari tour first. I missed them because I went straight to the walking exhibits and later learned they were taking a nap. Go for the track first!
Make sure to check the schedule for animal talks and feeding times. I missed a couple because I didn’t look ahead of time. Get a map at entry to plan your route better.
