Check out the temporary exhibitions if you can. I found them to be really interesting and fresh compared to the permanent displays.

Try to visit around 3 PM... I found it to be less busy and I could take my time exploring without feeling rushed by crowds

i suggest bringing a water bottle. there aren't many places to sit and relax, and it gets kinda hot when you're wandering around.

If you can, aim to visit on a weekday. It was way less crowded during my visit, making it easier for the kids to explore.
