If you're into photography, bringing a zoom lens can really help you capture the stunning details of the stained glass without being intrusive to other visitors

I recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowds. I went on a Saturday and it was packed, making it hard to appreciate the architecture.

Don't miss the gardens behind the cathedral. They're super peaceful and a great spot for photos—just a two-minute walk from the entrance!

After your visit, treat yourself to some Belgian treats at a nearby café. I had the best waffles just a short walk away, which was a nice way to wrap up my day!
Royal Palace
Don’t miss the changing of the guard ceremony at 2:30 PM, but get there early for a good spot! It was super interesting, but we were a bit far back. Just a little patience pays off!

I recommend visiting on a weekday if possible, the crowds are way thinner and you'll have better access to those stunning views. My experience was a lot more relaxed than the weekend rush!
I think the audio guide is totally worth it. It immerses you in the rich history much more than just wandering around. I almost skipped it and would’ve regretted it big time!
