Culture in Sarajevo:
Sebil
Bascarsija
Don’t rush your visit! I suggest going around 10 AM when the crowd is still manageable. This way, you can take photos without a bunch of people in the background. Trust me, it's way more enjoyable!
Gazi Khusrev Bega Mosque
Sarajevo City Hall
I suggest taking a guided tour—they gave me insights about the architecture and history that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Totally worth the extra time.
I recommend visiting right when it opens at 9 AM to dodge the crowds. The serenity in the morning light is just magical!
Sarajevo Military Tunnel
Latin Bridge
Avaz Twist Tower
National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina
I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, since it’s less crowded and you can really take your time exploring the exhibits. No rush!
Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Check the opening hours before you go! I almost missed out because I showed up during the lunch break. They usually close from noon to 1 PM, so plan accordingly
Don’t forget to explore the area around the cathedral! There are some cozy cafes nearby where you can grab a coffee and soak in the local vibe after your visit.
Try to catch some of the local events or mass times. I stumbled upon a beautiful service during my visit which added a special touch to the experience.
