Art Museum

I suggest going on a weekday morning. I got in right when they opened at 10 AM, and it was much quieter to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle. There’s a cafe inside, but I found the prices a bit steep. A quick sip helped me enjoy the art more!
Catavento Museum
Get there by 9 AM when it opens to beat the crowds. I arrived later and it felt packed. More space means more fun exploring the exhibits.

If you're traveling with kids, have them wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and trust me, you don’t want a meltdown halfway through!

Don't skip the cafe inside! While it's a bit more expensive than eating outside, the snacks were worth it for a quick energy boost. Plus, it's a nice spot to rest.

If you have time, I recommend exploring the area around the museum afterward. There are some cute parks and eateries nearby that are great for winding down after a busy day.
Pinacoteca Sao Paulo

If you're into art photography, I totally suggest walking around the exterior of the building. It's stunning! The sunlight really bring the architecture to life.

I think visiting in the early afternoon around 2 PM is smart, as it gets less crowded then. You can enjoy the art without feeling rushed.

My advice is to check out the temporary exhibits first because they tend to change and are often really great! I almost missed one that was awesome.
The Sao Paulo Museum of Image and Sound
Catedral Metropolitana da Sé
The Museum of Football

I think packing some snacks is handy. The cafe is decent but can get pricey and busy during lunchtime. Keep your energy up without breaking the bank!

I recommend going on a Tuesday or Wednesday; it's way less crowded, and you can soak in all the info without stress.
Museum Afro Brazil
University of Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art

If you're into photography, bring your camera! Just be sure to check their policy on shooting inside the museum first, as sometimes it can vary.

My advice is to explore the garden outside after you finish inside; it's a lovely place to relax and offers some different views of the museum.

Definitely grab a snack at the museum café; the food is pretty good, and it’s a nice break between the exhibits. I went in hungry and regretted not diving in sooner!

I recommend downloading their app if they have one. It helped me find exhibits quickly and provided interesting info about the pieces I saw.
