World of Science

My advice is to check out the schedule for the shows before you go. We missed a cool science show because we didn’t plan ahead, and it was a bummer!

If you're thinking about food, eat at the Triple Os inside. There’s plenty of seating and the prices aren't too bad, plus they have some kid-friendly options!

I really loved the outdoor rolling ball exhibit. Spending some time there made for a nice break before heading back inside - keeps the kids entertained!
Science World at TELUS World of Science

If you're on a budget, definitely look for combo tickets online that include other attractions. It saved me a good chunk of change!

Don't skip the live science demonstrations; they were super engaging and fun! I think it’s worth checking the schedule ahead of time to plan around them.

Grab lunch outside the museum if you can. The food inside looked overpriced, and a quick walk to a nearby café had better options for less.
Vancouver Art Gallery
Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia

I suggest setting aside a good 3-4 hours to explore. There's so much to see and if you're like me, you'll want to read everything!

If you're driving, look for street parking nearby instead of the main lot; it can save you some cash!

My advice is to take a break in the café in the museum. They have great snacks and the view outside is just breathtaking!

Make sure to visit the museum shop at the end. They’ve got cool souvenirs, some unique art peices, and it’s a nice way to support local artisans!
Burnaby Village Museum

My advice is to bring some cash! Not everywhere takes cards, and it’s nice to grab snacks or souvenirs without worrying about payment options.

I recommend checking out the live demonstrations. They’re super interesting and engaging, but the schedule can be a little tricky. Plan ahead to catch them!

If you want the best photo ops, I think right before closing time, around 4 PM, is ideal. The light is beautiful, and the place is mostly empty then!

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekends can get really busy and you're gonna want to take your time exploring the village without the crowd.
Vancouver Museum
My advice is to check their website for special events or discounts before you go! I saved a few bucks on admission this way. Plus, I got to see a cool temporary exhibit that was extra!

I suggest visiting on a Tuesday or Wednesday; it's way less crowded and you'll get more time to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed. I went on a Saturday and it was a bit overwhelming with all the people.

I recommend spending some time in the café there. They have great coffee and snacks and it's a perfect break spot. I didn't plan for it so I ended up feeling drained walking around
