Niagara Falls
I highly recommend spending a few bucks on a poncho if you plan to go on the Maid of the Mist. I skipped it to save money, but ended up soaking wet and damp for hours. Not fun!
If you're driving, park at the state park instead of the attractions. It's way cheaper and you can walk through the gorgeous park to the falls. Just be ready for a bit of a hike.

Niagara Falls State Park
My advice is to visit during weekdays if you can. The crowds were way less on Wednesday, which meant shorter lines and a more relaxed vibe when checking out the falls.

Journey Behind the Falls
White Water Walk
Wear comfortable shoes! You’ll be walking a lot on the paths and stairs, and there’s nothing worse than sore feet ruining the experience.
Plan your visit when the weather is nice! I went on a cloudy day and I feel like I missed out on the vibrant colors and the overall beauty of the area.
Butterfly Conservatory
Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
Bird Kingdom
Queenston Heights Park
Check out the picnic spots! I didn't bring food this time, which was a mistake. You can save money by packing a lunch and enjoying the views without spending a fortune at the cafe.
Queen Victoria Park
Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks, I found the prices at the kiosks to be super high. Packing a picnic really helps to save money and enjoy a nice lunch with a view.
Wear comfy shoes! I didn’t realize how much walking I’d be doing, and my feet were killing me by the end. A good pair of walking shoes can really make a difference.
