I think it's a good idea to book a table for pool in advance if you can. We kinda winged it and had to wait a while during peak hours, so it really pays to plan ahead.
My advice is to check their daily specials. I ended up getting a killer deal on drinks and snacks just by asking the bartender what's on offer that day. Totally worth it!

Be mindful of the dress code, especially on weekends. I showed up in shorts thinking it was casual but couldn't get in. Next time, I’ll dress a bit nicer to avoid any hassles
Ottawa Tennis

My advice is to bring plenty of water and snacks. The vending machine prices are a bit high and I ended up regretting not packing a quick bite.

I suggest you book your court time online to avoid long wait times. It’s way easier than trying to walk in, especially during peak hours like on weekends.

I recommend visiting during the week if you can. The atmosphere is more relaxed, and you get better access to courts without the crowd. Trust me, it’s a better experience!

If you plan on using rackets and balls, check if they have rentals. I thought I’d need to buy them, but renting was a lot cheaper than I expected.
Merivale Bowling Centre

If you're planning to eat, I'd suggest having a meal before or checking the menu online. The food's great but can be pricey for what you get.

I recommend checking their website for deals before you go. We snagged a special on a weekday night, which made our bowling night a lot more affordable!

Canadian Tire Centre

Arrive at least an hour before the game to beat the crowd. Trust me, getting through security and finding your seat can take longer than you think!

Check out the merch store after the first period. I found some awesome deals on team gear that weren’t available before the game started.

I recommend parking in lot 6. It's closer to the entrance, and I've seen parking prices vary a lot between lots.

Bring your own water bottle! They allow it, so you can save some cash instead of buying overpriced drinks inside.
Tennis Centre West Ottawa

My advice is to bring your own paddles and balls if you're into ping pong. Rentals can add up, and they don’t always have the best quality. I think I wasted money on a cheap rental last time!
